After my college education, which included earning a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin Superior in 1993, I began Star Tax & Accounting Services, Inc. in 1998. That year I prepared approximately 20 individual tax returns. Since then I’ve never actively advertised my business because I have so many great clients that have referred me to their family and friends. Since 1998 my business has grown to a client base of nearly 300 accounts in 2009.

Currently I am the Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at Como Oil & Propane in Duluth, MN and I recently earned a Masters Degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix in December 2007.
